John Martin Epp aka “MöTT” is a songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist from Colorado. Ever since seeing The Beatles on Ed Sullivan as a wee lad he knew he wanted to be a Rockstar. Playing in nightclubs since he was a young teen when his mom had to drive him to the gigs, music has always been his life, love, and endeavor. He still has an affinity for neon beer sings and has an impressive collection. They have been his artificial moon a fair portion of his life. Playing weekends in the ‘70’s and then touring and playing 5 – 6 nights a week in the’80’s and early ‘90’s gained him invaluable playing and performing experience as well as leadership, negotiation, and music related business skills. In 1992 he cut back to weekends again to have a “normal” life when he fell in love with his wife and two stepdaughters of 34 years.

MöTT has never stopped playing, writing, and recording, and through the fruits of a successful Real Estate career has finally been able to give his music the attention and treatment it has always deserved. His recently released 16 track offering, “Best is Yet to Come”, features the talents of industry stalwarts George Lynch, Brent Mason, Johnny Gioeli, Jeff Scott Soto, Billy Sheehan, Eric Gales, Derek Sherinian, Lee Small, Tony Franklin, Matt Starr, Kenny Aronoff, Jimi Bell, and others. This collection of Melodic Hard Rock songs is eclectic, well-crafted musically and lyrically, hook laden, and ready for distribution, covers by established artists, advertising campaigns, TV and Movie, the sky’s the limit. Of recent release “Angéle”, John Elefante (Kansas), said, “You’re good. I can hear it.”  Kevin Chalfant (Journey) said, “Your best to date.” Mott has been a finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest, Honorable mention in USA Songwriting Contest, and is presently a finalist in the Internation Songwriting Competition. MöTT continues to write, record, perform, and seek a suitable business arrangement to help him take his music and career to the next level. He is not currently signed to any exclusive contracts.
